Hi, my name is Tim Frederik Dobbelaere.
I happily married to Stephanie and have two beautiful children, Matthias and Nathan.
I work as an authentication subject matter expert at VASCO Data Security International, and lead a team of talented engineers in charge of VASCO's cornerstone authentication and electronic signature validation solution.
People tend to use other names as well, particularly wile playing computer games and on the Internet. I'm also known as Storem, Todd, ToddStorm and The Man.

My last Windows Vista machine was morpheus. It was a fantastic Pentium 4, and I had a lot fun with it, despite of the resource-hungry operating system.

My current workstation is a humble AMD A8-5600K with a GeForce GTX 275 named emperor. I mainly use it to get around the Internet and control my other systems. It's running Windows 7 Enterprise, which I find is a great operating system to drive two 24 inch screens..
I learned to create website while at university in Leuven. I quickly dropped vi/notepad in favour of a great little tool called HomeSite. It was probably the best piece of HTML coding software found on the planet at that time. In 1996 acquired by Allaire, its popularity among the hard core web authoring individuals raised to unknown heights. It was compliant with the HTML standards of the era and featured many extras, e.g. project management, version control, internal viewer, strict HTML and WYSIWYG modes, ... It was a must for the starting web professional!
Of course it all started going downhill when the company was acquired by Macromedia and subsequently by Adobe Systems.
My time at the university started my interest in the world wide web and programming. I left with a complete skill set which included Perl (thanks to Larry Wall for this most powerful programming language which introduced me to regular expressions), PHP, Pascal, C and C++. Man, was this a step up from playing around with BASIC on my neighbour's Commodore 64 and GW-BASIC on my 386sx machine!

I'm an avid sports shooter. I really enjoy packing up my gear, and hitting the range for a pistol - or benchrest longrifle bullseye shooting session.
